Welcome to Tell a Tale

Tell a Tale is a unique blog where writers from all sections will come and share their stories. Stories that talk for themselves are worth reading. Reading and writing go hand in hand, we all know that. This is a platform not only to share our stories but also to read others’ so that we learn and move ahead. This is where people share their writes and reads others. This unique because it lets you tell your own story – in your own words!

Our Motto
Writing is passion for some while for some it is profession too. Many of us are not professional writers but then, all of us want to write. Writing is common among us.
And hence, our motto: Write On!

Week # 6: Snake

“A funny thing to do is, if you're out hiking and your friend gets bitten by a poisonous snake, tell him you're going to go for help, then go about ten feet and pretend that you got bit by a snake. Then start an argument with him about who's going to go get help. A lot of guys will start crying. That's why it makes you feel good when you tell them it was just a joke.” ... Jack Handy

This is my first time participating in Tell a Tale. I have not yet delved into the fiction territory, so the tale is a childhood memory.

I love the prompt this week. I happen to be an avid snake fan, although I am not allowed to keep them. The snake in the prompt picture is called a Texas Coral Snake, it's one of my top 10 favorite snakes.

I had fun writing my short story. It's hilarious.
